Success On Tracks' singer/songwriter Amy Bishop wowed the 32nd Annual Alberta Film and Television Awards (the Rosies) black-tie audience on April 29th, 2006. Amy kicked off this televised event with her powerful voice to over 1600 film and TV professionals.
The Success On Tracks program promotes independent recording artists who believe in sharing their musical works with philanthropic causes and community fundraising initiatives. A continuously growing library of audio tracks from all genres has been compiled and made available to the voluntary sector to design custom compilation CDs to trade for donations.
Success On Tracks - true to their slogan “people supporting people through the power of music,” now endeavors to acknowledge the good will of their artists by promoting these works one step further.
With the nod from AMPIA’s Executive Director Alan Brooks, the Success On Tracks program will provide a much deserved leg-up for Alberta’s unsigned independent recording artists and song writers to enter the Film/TV music markets.
“Breaking into the Film/TV music markets is no easy task for unsigned independent recording artists. For most artists the opportunity may never present itself,” says Alan Brooks of AMPIA.
Any alliances formed between Success On Tracks artists, and the Film/TV industry membership will create an open door for equal access to creativity between both music supervisors/buyers and independent recording artists.
As a Film/TV decision-maker you can now gain access to this library of “home grown works” for your next production’s score or soundtrack.
